Zamzi Terms of Service

Welcome to Zamzi Speak Easy. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Zamzi website, where job seekers, business owners, and employers create profiles to connect and engage. By accessing or using the Zamzi website, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use the Zamzi website.
1. Definitions
- Zamzi: The company providing the website at https://zamzi.co.za.
- Website: The Zamzi website and related services.
- User: Any person who accesses or uses the Website, including Workers, Business Owners, and Employers.
- Worker: Domestic workers, gardeners, caregivers, handymen, and other job seekers who create profiles.
- Business Owner: Individuals or entities that create profiles to offer services, manage their business presence, or connect with job seekers or other users.
- Employer: Persons or entities who browse Worker or Business Owner profiles to potentially hire or engage them.
2. User Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. By using Zamzi, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.
3. User Accounts
Users must create an account to access certain features. Account information must be accurate and kept up to date. Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login details and are liable for all activities under their account. Notify Zamzi immediately of any unauthorized use.
4. Privacy
Your use of Zamzi is governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.
5. Profiles and User Content
Workers and Business Owners may create profiles showcasing their skills, experience, qualifications, or business offerings. All information must be truthful and accurate. By posting content, you grant Zamzi a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content for operating and promoting the Website. You are solely responsible for your content and any consequences of posting it.
6. Employer and Business Owner Use
Employers and Business Owners may browse profiles to potentially hire or engage Workers or other Business Owners. All users must comply with applicable laws and conduct their own due diligence.
7. Fees, Subscriptions, and Payments
Zamzi offers subscription plans that provide access to premium features on a monthly recurring basis.
By subscribing, you agree to pay the subscription fees specified at the time of purchase. Fees are billed in advance on a recurring monthly cycle.
Payment must be made through accepted payment methods. You authorize Zamzi to charge your chosen payment method for all fees incurred.
Subscriptions automatically renew each month unless cancelled before the next billing cycle.
You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime via your account settings. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period; no partial refunds are provided.
Workers and Business Owners also pay a once-off, non-refundable fee for lifetime profile maintenance.
Fees are non-refundable except as required by law or at Zamzi’s sole discretion.
If payment fails or your account is past due, Zamzi may suspend or terminate your access to subscription features until payment is received.
You are responsible for maintaining accurate payment information and notifying Zamzi of any changes.
8. Prohibited Conduct
Users may not:
- Use the Website for unlawful purposes or in a way that harms Zamzi or others.
- Post content that is defamatory, discriminatory, or infringes on others’ rights.
- Circumvent or manipulate the Website’s fee structure or payment systems.
- Upload viruses, malware, or malicious code.
9. Intellectual Property
The Zamzi Website and its contents are owned by Zamzi and protected by South African and international copyright and trademark laws. Users may not modify, copy, distribute, transmit, display, reproduce, or create derivative works without permission.
10. Third-Party Services and Links
The Website may contain links to third-party websites or services. Zamzi is not responsible for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites.
11. Disclaimers
Zamzi provides the Website “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Zamzi does not guarantee the Website will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that Workers will find employment or Employers will find suitable candidates.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Zamzi shall not be liable for any indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages related to your use of the Website. Zamzi’s total liability shall not exceed R1000 for any reason.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Zamzi, its directors, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, liabilities, or expenses arising from your use of the Website, your content, or violation of these Terms.
14. Termination
Zamzi may suspend or terminate your access at any time for any reason, including violation of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time, but fees will not be refunded.
15. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of South Africa. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of South Africa.
16. Changes to Terms
Zamzi may modify these Terms at any time by posting changes on the Website. We will notify users of material changes by email or website notice. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
17. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
18. Entire Agreement
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Zamzi regarding your use of the Website.
By using the Zamzi website, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Zamzi website.
